Friday, February 5, 2010 The Dragonfly will host Rockin’ Bones: ANight For Natasha. The evening is a benefit for local artist Natasha Vetlugin of Skellramics, who sustained severe injuries in an accident in November 2009. She is a still unable to work and now facing massive hospital bills.

The event will present a vast cross-section of well known, and in some cases legendary, Los Angeles talent: all friends of the well-loved Natasha.

Featured musical acts include Jane Wiedlin (The Go-Go’s, Frosted) Maria McKee, Abby Travis, Rob Zabrecky (Possum Dixon), Kristian Hoffman and more TBA.

Comedians Ian Harvie (“Parts Sold Separately”) and Selene Luna (“The Cho Show”) will provide laughs.

Subversive cabaret performers The Poubelle Twins (Lucha Vavoom) will present a live, onstage Slapping Booth with all proceeds going directly to Natasha’s medical bill fund.

A multitude LA’s hottest dance performers, from burlesque to belly dance, will also grace the stage, including Princess Farhana (Pleasant Gehman) Penny Starr, Jr. (Victory Variety Hour), Jewel O’Denial, Heather Shoopman, Leela & Salome Jihad Belly Dance Fantasy Theater, Hiplash, Sugar Bandit and Kristina Nekyia.

Raffle prizes include: Hula Hoops By Unity, Happy Chi Jewelry, Skellramics, & handmade. Also: DVD packages from www.itsachick.com & Dikenga Films, and dinners at local restaurants.
