mindslide (11-85)

Mindslide tripping thru
It's a jagged life that screams at you
There's a man named box
He's as sleek as a fox
But not quite as smart as a clock
He slips & he slides, endlessly glides
Completely oblivious to the world passing by
Sneaks thru the underworld
Looking for the copper lining that
Seeps right thru his heart
Is there a question? For more then
Money he'll answer you, & when you
Hear it you'll wish you'd never asked
Blue blades whipping past
A lifetime of dreams, he knew wouldn't last
Silent screams & vacant dreams
In sync with tv. Stares
Jack knife & frozen manner
He leaves you with an unsteady fear
But oh how you wish you could be him
Wouldn't it solve all your problems
It's like a bunch of zombies just
Waling thru the zoo
It's a mindslide
Tripping thru
